The alliance includes Auckland Transport, Fletcher Construction, ACCIONA, AECOM and Jacobs.

We are delivering a significant project for Auckland, creating separate lanes for new high-frequency bus services to connect people from Botany, Pakuranga and the surrounding suburbs with the rail network in Panmure.


As our Traffic Manager you will lead the planning, resourcing and effective delivery of the traffic management workload for the project while leading a team of Traffic Management Planners, Operatives and STMS staff both internal and external.

Further, you will be across the effective implementation of Traffic Management Plans and the effective implementation of them.

What you will bring to the role:

  • You will a solid background in Traffic Management on roading projects within New Zealand, including knowledge of NZTA's processes and procedures
  • Prior experience as a Traffic Manager is sought after
  • Experienced in the preparation of Traffic Management Plans and the effective implementation of them
  • You will be a qualified STMS Category B and be able to install level 2 signage OR STMS Level 2/3 NP or CAT ABC NP
  • Excellent people skills you will enjoy leading a team or be ready to the next step up in your career
  • Be a competent communicator at all levels
  • Strong project planning experience
  • A high level of knowledge and commitment to operational health and safety best practice
  • Experience in Cost management, forecasting and procurement.
  • Proficient in utilizing CAD software.
