Tēnei tūranga - About the role:

As a Supplier Relationship Manager in our team, you will be hands on in working with our business, leading supplier relationships, and furthering our work on our supplier management framework, and imbed this across ICT to drive enterprise level outcome.

Working with a portfolio of suppliers, you will have a lot of freedom and scope to make this role your own.

As a natural problem solver, you will enjoy the challenge and complexity that working in a large organisation brings.

You will have the opportunity to unpick the value of the arrangements in place and build a business case for the future of our technology.

In addition to this you will bring:

  • Proven experience working in commercial management with suppliers or clients
  • Dynamic selfstarter capable of selfdirection
  • Qualification in Law, Accounting, Technology, Engineering
  • Previous experience in roles requiring commercial analysis or bid preparation, stakeholder management and influencing
  • Previous experience working in a complex public sector organisation
  • A solid working understanding of technology services
  • A collegial, nonjudgemental and empathetic approach
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
