What you will do:


You will work alongside the Commercial Manager to manage a high-value Commercial Banking customer portfolio while also identifying, developing and acquiring new-to-bank business.

You will also have the ability to drive strong customer engagement and retention through your thorough understanding of customer needs and the development of solutions.

Equally important will be your focus on maintaining the profitability of a complex and growing portfolio, whilst upholding strong risk and control standards.


A natural leader and mentor, you will also relish the opportunity to develop direct reports, as you will be responsible for management of the relationship team.


What we're looking for:

We are looking for an experienced Relationship Manager who is ready to take on more responsibility.

It will be your proven experience and success within either Business or Commercial Banking role, outstanding relationship & portfolio management skills, and your strong credit and lending skills that will demonstrate you have the right technical skills for this role.

Your friendly, professional, can-do attitude enables you to quickly establish positive long-term relationships with your customers, which is what will set you apart from others.


As this role has direct reports, you will be a natural leader and mentor with a passion for developing your staff and others; however it's not a pre-requisite that you have previous leadership experience.
