At Jacobs, our Power Generation and Storage Solutions Team is geared towards providing a more integrated approach offering end-to-end service to support our clients in energy networks, thermal generation, renewable generation, and storage solutions space.

We are helping our clients meet the challenges faced in countries and cities across the globe, providing innovative solutions from replacing conventional thermal power plants with renewable energy to developing demand side management strategies.


Our Geothermal Consultants are positioned within our Power Group and collaborate closely with clients across the globe in development of their geothermal energy portfolios.

We work extensively with project developers, financing and investment institutions, plant owners / operators and government and regulatory bodies.

Here's What You'll Need:


As a Senior Geothermal Consultant in Jacobs Power group, you'll collaborate on the delivery of technical projects relating to geothermal energy and sustainable development, geothermal exploration and resource assessment, drilling strategy, project evaluation and power plant development.

You'll provide specialised consultancy and engineering services across the ANZ region, along with supporting global projects in South-East Asia.

We're looking for the following:

  • Ability to deliver highquality geothermal technical reports and consultancy services on projects.
  • Previous international development experience or consultancy experience.
  • Skilled in engaging with colleagues and clients, builds trust and fosters client relationships.
  • Well developed report writing capabilities coupled with the ability to communicate and liaise with geographically diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Interest in mentoring less experienced colleagues and supporting their development.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Geothermal Sciences or Engineering.
