Purpose of the position:


Accounts Administrators are responsible for ensuring that accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and banking processes are carried out in a timely manner and that the information in the accounting system is accurate.

Accounts Administrators will be required to actively communicate with other teams to ensure that contractor and supplier invoices are correct and paid in a timely manner.

Accounts Administrators are required to invoice, job code, process invoice data and keep organized records for archiving. Accounts Administrators will also be required to carry out other ad hoc duties as outlined in the task description.

The role involves payables, payroll, reconciliation, reporting, generic tasks as well as other tasks.

Generic skills:

  • Technologically literate and competent in the use of current Microsoft Office Suite products; particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Knowledge of office procedures and equipment
  • Fluent in the English language, proven oral and written communication skills with a pleasant telephone manner
  • Ability to note and pass on information and messages accurately and succinctly
  • Maths competency and ability to do relevant calculations
  • Multitasking ability, selfmotivated and energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Able to work with people in a calm, efficient, and effective manner; and to cope with and prioritize a number of competing demands at once
  • Good time management skills, able to make decisions quickly and appropriately, and with the ability to work independently and in a team
