Working out of our Brisbane office and reporting to our Group COO, the General Manager – Chilling & Freezing will be the foundation of organisational success, adeptly steering the team through strategic planning, operational finesse, and unwavering leadership.

The business unit comprises of our Sales, Engineering, Innovation and Project Management teams, of which you will lead and manage, ensuring there is a high performing mindset at all times.

As the overseer of every facet of the Chilling and Freezing business unit's operations ($33 M annual turnover, from financial management to customer relations, you will be the driving force behind achieving goals and maximising profitability.

Your previous experience and knowledge will assist you in developing sales strategies to achieve targets and KPIs for the business unit, ensuring continuous improvement of engineering practices, while empowering the team to foster innovation initiatives and developing an environment that is conducive to collaboration.

You will be a team player who possesses the ability to understand and work alongside the General Managers of the other business units, while at the same time not losing focus on achieving results in your own team.

With a keen eye for strategy and a dedication to excellence, you will ensure that every aspect of the Chilling & Freezing business unit functions seamlessly, propelling it towards sustained success and a culture of empowerment.


About You:

Relevant tertiary qualification, ideally in engineering or project management A demonstrated track record of success in a senior management role Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate team members Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data driven approach to decision making Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial analysis Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels Strategically and holistically thinks about the long- and short-term implications of decisions Maintains a high level of accountability and inspires the same in others, empowering them with a sense of ownership to make decisions.

Aligns with MHM Automation's values and models them in their leadership style Availability to travel domestically and internationally (where required)

Based in our Head office in Christchurch this role will be the driving force behind aligning and creating efficiencies within MHM's global supply chain including procurement, inventory management and logistics.

Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will be responsible for the planning, management and performance of supply chain and logistics across the MHM Group.

Coordinating with current supply chain and procurement teams globally you will have accountability over procurement resources, manage suppliers and contracts to ensure our solutions reach our customers while continuously seeking to improve internal processes.

Due to the global scope of our business this role will require accessing offshoring and 3 PL alternatives for our international markets.


About You:

Relevant tertiary qualification, such as Commerce, Engineering, Operations or International Business Operational experience and knowledge of supply chain management (including procurement, logistics and inventory management) in an international manufacturing environment.

Commercially successful in supply contract negotiation and reviewing agreements, ideally in the US and Europe Be able to develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, staff, and customers Be competent in Microsoft Suite and experienced with complex ERP solutions Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be a pragmatic problem solver focused on finding solutions

Based on our Hastings office, you will be working on our bespoke automation projects and stand-alone machine builds.

This role truly has it all, you will be reviewing engineering designs, overseeing the manufacture and installation of our products and services, use your relationship skills to liaise with customers and our internal teams in Mechanical Design, Automation, Electrical Operations, and the Workshop and ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within budget and within project specifications.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be switched on at every point, technically minded, with awesome attention to detail and a real problem solver and team player.

Based out of our Brisbane office, you will use your strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customer representatives, in this customer facing role.

The Service Engineer will travel throughout Australia to perform scheduled maintenance, respond to emergency breakdowns, and ensure the optimal functioning of our equipment at client sites.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the expansion of this business area by identifying new service opportunities and coordinating with the Servicing and Sales teams.

Ensuring the safety of our customers, their staff, and our team members is of paramount importance, and you will be expected to adopt best practices in all aspects of your work.


About You:
Trade Certificate in Fitting, Mechanical Technician Experience in Chilling and Freezing and/or food processing equipment would be advantageous Ability to systematically diagnose faults and provide well thought out solutions High level of accuracy and attention to detail Be able to develop and maintain relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and customers Be a pragmatic problem solver focused on finding solutions Excellent written and oral communication skills

The Service Lead is a dynamic and strategic role responsible for delivering service offerings and proactive critical spare parts management for our valued customers.

This role embodies a sales-focused approach, forging strong service relationships with clients across the MHM Group product range within Australia.

This is a newly created position within our growing business and your role will be crucial in establishing and leading the servicing and sales of spares for our OEM equipment throughout Australia.


About You:

Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or Trade qualification or NZCE qualification in engineering desireable Previous experience in leading a service team in the aftersales industry Experience in Chilling and Freezing and/or food processing equipment would be advantageous High level of accuracy and attention to detail Be able to develop and maintain relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
