Help shape the future of Hamilton's financial and asset management systems. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to run a platform with modern product management experience, can lead a skilled technical team, and can bring stability and direction to complex enterprise environments.

What you will lead

You will own the direction and performance of our Finance and Asset platforms, including key ERP and asset management systems. You will set the roadmap, guide your team, remove roadblocks, and make sure platforms stay reliable, sustainable, and aligned with organisational priorities.

What you will actually work on:

  • Creating a clear product roadmap with business owners
  • Managing upgrades, changes, and platform improvements
  • Strengthening engineering and delivery practices across the team
  • Leading a team of eight or more specialists, with support from a Product Owner
  • Reducing technical debt and improving stability
  • Managing risk across high impact financial and asset processes
  • Working with vendors and internal teams on technical issues
  • Driving value from our investments in core enterprise platforms

What we are looking for:

You are someone who brings structure, calm, and clarity in environments with many moving parts. You understand platform ownership and know how to balance competing needs without losing sight of long-term goals.

You will bring:

  • Strong experience managing enterprise platforms or products
  • Hands on background with ERP or asset systems (Authority, Datascape, Infor IPS, or similar)
  • Experience leading a technical team
  • Solid delivery discipline and understanding of engineering practice
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to turn business goals into a technical plan that makes sense
  • Experience working with modern delivery methods
  • Strong judgement around risk, prioritisation, and sequencing

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical capability and the judgement to make sense of complex financial or asset related information.
  • Solid working knowledge of ERP and asset management systems, including configuration, integrations, and operational support.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise platforms in a multi supplier environment.
  • Experience guiding delivery across concurrent streams of work while keeping risk and priorities clear.
  • Confident communication skills that support constructive engagement with technical teams and senior business leaders.
  • Experience lifting delivery practice, engineering discipline, or team capability.
  • Tertiary qualification in information technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of financial and asset management processes and how these shape system design and platform decisions would be adventageous.
