About the role:

We are currently looking for a Dispatch Order Assembly Operator to join our Logistics team. This is a fixed term contract until April 2027 while the current employee is seconded to another role within the business. You'll work alongside our customer service, planning, production and transport teams to make sure our salmon gets where it needs to go fresh, fast, cold and on time. This position is Monday to Friday, 6.00am – 2.30pm, although flexibility will be needed for earlier starts when needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Label and invoice of products and moving products by pallet around the site safely
  • Scanning orders to customers
  • Make sure all paperwork is completed and correct
  • Using a jiffy to load our units
  • Be in a daily rotation
  • Using a forklift to complete daily task

What we're looking for:

  • A good eye for detail and pride in doing things right
  • Able to handle a few tasks at once and stay calm under pressure
  • A reliable team player who's willing to pitch in and get the job done
  • Be physically fit as some heavy lifting involved up to 25kg with the use of pallet jiffy
  • Happy to work in a chilled and outdoor environment
  • Basic computer skills-email, Excel, and scanners

It would be an advantage if you've worked in logistics, dispatch or warehousing before especially with chilled products. However, full training will be provided for the right person.
