**About the Role**

If you are pondering your next career move you will want to consider this exciting opportunity as Batcher/Dispatcher at our concrete plant in Nelson. In this role your days will include: taking and tracking our concrete orders, scheduling deliveries, accurately batching quality concrete, management of new raw material, plant safety, organising staff, and environmental compliance and quality control matters and procedures.

**About You**

You will be methodical, have an eye for detail, and be able to remain calm so that you can make effective decisions when the pressure is on. You will have great organisational and time management skills and be effective at resolving problems as they arise. Previous experience in the concrete industry would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided. You will also have:

- solid computer skills, with a willingness to learn new computerised systems;
- some experience in organising staff;
- a strong sales and customer service focus, with great communication skills;
- a commitment to complying with our exceptional health and safety standards.

In addition, you will enjoy being part of a busy team, have a positive and practical can-do attitude, be punctual and reliable and be flexible in your working hours, which includes early morning starts.

A company vehicle will be provided for work related use.
