About the role

4Mile is seeking multiple enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our dynamic Tele fundraising Contact Centre team in Wellington CBD, Wellington. This is a casual role that offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a real impact.

What you'll be doing

  • Reaching out to prospective supporters to generate interest and secure funds for important causes
  • Delivering outstanding customer service and building strong relationships with potential supporters
  • Maintaining accurate records and providing reports on calling activities and outcomes
  • Contributing to the overall success of the Tele fundraising team by meeting and exceeding targets
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest product information, scripts and sales techniques

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in a call centre environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade
  • Strong listening skills and the empathy to understand and address customer needs
  • Resilience and the ability to handle rejection, while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
  • A passion for making a difference and contributing to important charitable causes
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per fortnight
