Our practice is a small, close-knit, collaborative team where experienced clinicians and support staff work together to provide the highest quality patient care. Located in Otaki our busy 2 surgery practice offers a family like dynamic with a strong team spirit supporting the local community.
As Practice Manager, you'll enjoy a well-supported role with regular hours from Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 5:15pm. You'll lead and inspire a passionate team, helping guide the practice to continued success and growth.
How you'll make an impact
In this key leadership position, you'll manage the day-to-day operations of our busy practices, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your proven people leadership skills and business acumen will be essential as you empower your team to thrive and deliver outstanding care. You'll take ownership of financial performance, budgeting, and operational targets, all while fostering a positive and professional environment for staff and patients alike.
QualificationsWhat we're looking for
We're seeking a confident, adaptable leader with demonstrated experience in team management or practice management - dental or medical experience is preferred but not essential. You should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be comfortable giving and receiving feedback, and thrive under pressure while juggling multiple priorities. A solid understanding of financial management, including budgets, sales targets, utilisation, and profit & loss statements, will help you excel in this role. Additionally, you should be confident with technology and eager to learn new systems.
