Marralomeda Charitable Trust is a caring community that supports adults with intellectual disabilities. We recognise the unique gifts and contributions that every person has to offer. The community is based in Redwood, with shared accommodation across five neighbouring homes and a Day Activity Centre supporting 21 people.

We are looking for an experienced Support Worker to join our team under our Individual Support Service.

Hours:

· Monday to Thursday: 4pm – 6pm

· Tuesday: 10am – 2pm

The role involves supporting two gentlemen in their own homes, it may best suit someone living in the St Albans, Papanui, or Redwood area.

This is a fixed-term role until the end of April 2026, with the possibility of extension. There may also be opportunities for relieving work across our five homes.

This role requires:


• Level 2 Qualification in Health and Wellbeing or higher preferred.


• Experience in supporting adults with a disability in a way that upholds the rights for choice and self- determination.


• A commitment to the Marralomeda Christian philosophy


• Enthusiasm, flexibility, and a passion for supporting people to achieve their hopes and dreams and to live the life they want to.


• Excellent organising and time management skills


• Excellent Communication Skills


• A team player who can contribute to a mutually supportive team


• Ability to work independently and be self-managing


• Basic computer skills


• A current full Driver's License


• Must hold a current First Aid Certificate
