The role

Community Support Work is meaningful, varied and often life changing for people who want a rewarding and challenging career.

The role of a Community Support Worker in our Vocational Programme is to provide support to people with a disability who require assistance, with a strong focus on developing the skills of each individual to live their best life.

The role is offered on a permanent Full Time basis working Monday to Friday days only.

  • Are you passionate about supporting people with disabilities and advancing and empowering the lives of others?
  • Are you compassionate and demonstrates empathy?
  • Are you able to handle complex or challenging situations calmly and rationally?

Essential Selection Criteria

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the capability to engage and develop strong relationships with others.
  • Ability to prioritize and demonstrates problem solving skills.
