FRAMECAD is seeking an experienced Account Payable Officer to join our team for a fixed term opportunity.

What we are looking for

The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of NZ supplier invoices, expense claims, and payments. This role supports the financial operations of the business by maintaining strong vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and contributing to the integrity of financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify NZ supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding an approvals.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare weekly, 20th and month-end vendor payment batches
  • Respond to supplier queries and maintain positive relationships.
  • Process NZ Credit Card transactions
  • Review and reconcile NZ APDP (Accounts Payable Down Payment) monthly (EOM)
  • Manage NZ Petty Cash and NZ cash on Hand
  • Support external audits by providing required documentation.
  • Automation: Assist with the implementation of new software for Purchase Order/Invoice workflow

Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in SAP accounting software
  • Good understanding of GST and other relevant tax regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Open-minded and adaptable to change
