Production Line Leader

Heartland Fruit is a successful post-harvest business based in the Nelson/Tasman area, which packs and stores apples for both local and international markets. Being passionate about fruit, Heartland Fruit was established by a group of Nelson orchardists whose innovative approach has led to developments in packing, cool-storage, controlled atmosphere facilities, logistics, marketing and new apple variety development. Reporting to the Packhouse Manager, the Production Line Leader will be responsible for ensuring production plans and customer orders are met on time and within specification.

The position will also be required to optimise labour utilisation throughout the production process and contribute towards continuous improvement and efficiency gains.

This exciting role is ideally suited to a person who has experience working in a dynamic production or operational environment who enjoys working with people, equipment and being fully involved with a production process.
