Lusty & Blundell celebrates its 50th year as a market leader distributing high quality marine (electronics, fluid handling, pumps etc.) and non-marine (clean energy and charging solutions) products. Representing first class global manufacturers to a network of trade and retail customers throughout New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated team player to join our Tauranga branch and assist the team with general sales, warehousing, and showroom duties. The branch operates Monday to Friday between 7.30am to 5pm.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

·       Customer service, answering and processing customer's enquiries and orders via phone, email, and over the counter.

·       General warehousing such as stock transfers, returned goods processing, stock takes and receipting and dispatching of products.

About You:

Even if you have no marine industry background, but you're a fast learner and passionate about fishing, diving, water sports etc. and would like to start your career in the industry please apply

  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to sell – major advantage (not core to the role)
  • Retentive memory and the ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Good personal presentation
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Good work ethic, self-motivated and a team player
  • Natural problem-solving skills, a curious mind, with a willingness to learn new technologies
  • Flexibility to work at other branch locations (Whangarei & Auckland) from time to time an advantage
