Chesters Plumbing and Bathroom Centre was established in 1973 and remains a privately owned New Zealand company with close to 50 years' experience in the New Zealand market. We have 18 branches and counting nationwide. Our growth has been the result of excellent plumbing supplies backed by our service and commitment to our large customer base of plumbers, gasfitters, builders, homemakers, and renovators.
Chesters Plumbing and Bathroom have an exciting opportunity for a people person who has a passion for interior design or creative flair at our sunny Tauranga branch.
Day to day, you will provide excellent customer service to our homemakers and renovators. You will work closely with our suppliers becoming an expert on our plumbing and bathroom product and range. You will also have the opportunity to work with our builders and housing groups, as well as local designers, providing quotes and offering solutions. No two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of a busy Plumbing merchant.
Ideally you will have previous experience as a bathroom showroom consultant, although you may have plumbing and bathroom knowledge gained by trade, retail, or supplier experience. To be successful as a Showroom consultant at Chesters, you will need to have a keen eye for detail, energy, and enthusiasm, and be a fantastic team player. A positive approach, can-do attitude, and a great sense of humour will go a long way with the Chesters.
