We have some fantastic fixed term opportunities for experienced administrators and customer service superstars to join our HR Teams for our 2026 season

These roles are based in Te Puke and are perfect entry level opportunities to learn more about Human Resources and develop practical knowledge and experience.

We have day shift, twilight shift and night shift opportunities available.

You will need exceptional people skills to create a great employee experience throughout the entire employment process to support our vision to be the kiwifruit industry's employer of choice

The duties are varied but will include, monitoring of daily shift attendance, uploading data to our payroll system, processing of employee timecards, assisting with recruitment & induction, plus a range of back up duties within the HR Team.

We have lots of fun during our season – so you will also need to demonstrate great teamwork, a good sense of humour and the ability to get stuck in and motivate people with a variety of staff reward and recognition incentives throughout the season

You will also need:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to be able to work as part of a team within a diverse seasonal workforce.
  • Resilience to be able to work effectively when working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • To demonstrate the importance of maintaining confidentiality and an awareness of all principles of the Privacy Act 2020.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Be able to pick up new computer systems confidently and quickly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in an HR administration role is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided.

These opportunities are fixed term commencing in January for our 2026 kiwifruit season for a minimum of 6 months. There may be further opportunities for continued work beyond these dates
