We're building New Zealand's leading coffee pre-ordering platform, connecting customers with independent cafés across Auckland (and nationwide expansion early We're a small but ambitious team working to transform how people get their daily coffee while supporting local café culture.

The Role

We're looking for a social media manager who genuinely loves coffee culture and knows how to build engaged communities online. This will start as a contract role with the potential to transition to full-time as we grow. You'll be responsible for our presence across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms, telling stories that resonate with both coffee lovers and café owners.

What you'll do:

  • Create and execute social media strategies that drive app downloads and café partnerships
  • Produce engaging content (video, photo, stories) that showcases our cafés and community
  • Manage our content calendar and post consistently across platforms
  • Engage with our community, respond to comments, and build relationships
  • Work with our marketing agency to align organic and paid strategies
  • Track performance metrics and optimise based on what's actually working
  • Collaborate with café partners to create authentic, shareable content

What we're looking for:

  • 2-3+ years of hands-on social media management experience
  • Strong content creation skills (you can shoot and edit video on your phone)
  • Deep understanding of Instagram and TikTok algorithms and trends
  • Experience with social media analytics and performance tracking
  • Genuine passion for coffee, hospitality, and supporting local businesses
  • Self-starter who can work independently in a startup environment
  • Auckland-based (we're building a local-first business)
