About the Role

We're currently looking for a Firearms Sales Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in the outdoors and solid knowledge of firearms. Experience with our product range is a bonus, but full training will be provided for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing friendly, expert advice to customers on our firearms range
  • Assisting with the sale and safe handling of firearms in line with all legal requirements
  • Supporting general retail operations including stock management, merchandising, and customer service
  • Maintaining a tidy and professional firearms area
  • Staying up to date with current firearm models, accessories, and regulations
We're Looking For Someone Who:
  • Has a passion for the outdoors and firearm use (hunting, sport shooting, etc.)
  • Demonstrates a commitment to responsible firearm handling and safety
  • Is confident and approachable with excellent communication skills
  • Works well as part of a team but can also take initiative
  • Is detail-oriented and committed to compliance with firearms regulations
Requirements:
  • Must hold a current New Zealand Firearms Licence
  • Previous retail or firearms experience is an advantage
  • Must be legally permitted to work in New Zealand
