The role
The Future Network Planning Engineer Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the Vector long-term infrastructure planning process.
Over the course of a full-time, ten-week placement, this role offers exposure to a diverse range of engineering problems, solved using specialist power system modelling software and data.
Who are we looking for?
- You'll be working towards a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- You're a self-starter who's not afraid to take the lead, make decisions in the face of ambiguity, and follow through. You say what you're going to do – and do it
- You're curious, open to feedback, and willing to try new approaches. You're comfortable learning through experimentation, even if that means failing fast and reassessing
- You value diverse perspectives, walk in others' shoes, and contribute to decisions that put Vector first. You work with others to shape the future and do what's right for customers.
