The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic part-time Receptionist to join our professional Admin Team at Churchyard Physiotherapy in Palmerston North.

Churchyard Physiotherapy is a busy Physiotherapy practice located on Broadway Avenue.  This is a role that will suit someone who enjoys a customer-facing role and who strives to deliver the best customer experience for all our patients.

You will be proactive, forward-thinking, and professional with a can-do attitude, who thrives in a team environment.  Your willingness to go the extra mile, and take the initiative to make things happen, will be crucial in your success.

Our admin team work between 8.30am and 7pm Monday and Thursday and 8.30 am to 5pm Tuesday and Wednesday, and 8.30am – 4pm Friday (that's right – no weekend work).  You will have set 20 hours per week.  We will need you to be flexible to cover other staff absences.

This role is responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

Carrying out reception duties in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring reception is always attended and that you are a great first point of contact for our clients

Supporting the Physiotherapists by maintaining an efficient appointment book, ensuring all documentation is received and up to date

Day to day administration such as making and changing appointments, data entry, taking fees and balancing daily takings, all with a high level of accuracy/attention to detail

With time and experience you will be trained in aspects of ACC billing, invoicing and ordering supplies

Experience in a physiotherapy or other health practice would be an advantage, but full training will be given to the right person.

Knowledge and experience of working with computerised practice management systems, especially Gensolve would also be a distinct advantage, but not essential.
