Job Description
ENGEO's Tauranga crew is growing and we're looking for a geotechnical engineer to join us in The Mount

We have an exciting pipeline of work across a broad spectrum of sectors - large-scale land development, commercial construction, public facilities, and horizontal infrastructure - and we're excited at this opportunity to expand our team.

You'll join a highly experienced team, with no shortage of senior support and mentorship to help you grow as an engineer, and opportunities to work on exciting projects locally and beyond.

About This Role
Here at ENGEO, we're true consultants - you will be involved in providing geotechnical designs and advising on engineering solutions, as well as leading some of your own projects, ensuring their successful delivery

This vacancy will have more of a design focus, and you'll be getting stuck into some juicy analysis and flexing your technical know-how across all sorts of interesting, complex work - retaining structures, slope stability, ground improvement, foundation design, and more.

Required Experience
About you:
You will have a passion for geotechnical design and problem-solving, taking pride in producing high-quality engineering solutions that deliver real value to clients.

You will have an aptitude for working within a team environment and take pride in your work, as we strive to achieve the highest quality and consistency of deliverables.

Our environment is productive and friendly, so a sense of humour alongside a willing and flexible attitude will be highly valued.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is
hungry

  • 3-5 years' experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Geotechnical analysis and design experience
  • Slope stability, settlement, soil-structure interaction analysis
  • A solutions-focussed attitude to delivering practical outcomes
  • Growing understanding of effective project delivery
