CSL Hamilton is looking for a motivated and skilled Operations Manager to join our growing team.

We deliver projects that keep communities connected from streetlighting, traffic systems, and general civil works.

Our success is built on strong relationships, quality delivery and a team that takes pride in what we do. With continued growth across the Waikato, we're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our regional operations based in Hamilton.


The Role

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll oversee the delivery and performance of a diverse range of infrastructure projects across the Waikato. You'll provide operational leadership, drive efficiency, and ensure our people, clients and projects achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead day-to-day infrastructure operations and project delivery across the Waikato
  • Manage and support project managers, supervisors and site teams
  • Oversee programming, resource allocation and subcontractor performance
  • Ensure quality, safety and environmental compliance across all works
  • Foster strong client relationships and represent CSL professionally
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement and business growth
  • Contribute to strategic planning and team development within the region
About You

You're a proven leader with a strong civil infrastructure background and a passion for delivering complex projects to a high standard. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy developing people, and bring a practical, solutions-focused approach.

Skills and Experience:
  • 5+ years in civil operations, project or contract management
  • Experience across civil, electrical or smart infrastructure projects (preferred)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of contract management, cost control and scheduling
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and sustainability
  • Ability to build and maintain positive client and stakeholder relationships
  • Full NZ driver's license
