Are you a passionate and experienced leader ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of learners? Vision College is seeking a dynamic Deputy Campus Manager to join our Hamilton team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated team, support student success, and contribute to a vibrant and purpose-driven educational environment.

About the Role

As Deputy Campus Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in ensuring our Hamilton campus, connecting in particular with our youth to ensure Vision College is a welcoming, high-performing place to work and study. You'll support and inspire our staff, champion academic and operational excellence, and help shape a positive student experience aligned with our values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Student Experience & Campus Culture: Collaborate with Managers and Programme Leaders to deliver outstanding learning experiences. Lead and support staff to ensure they are equipped for success.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with industry partners, community groups, and other key stakeholders.
  • Academic Excellence: Support the delivery of high-quality education and ensure positive learning outcomes.
  • Operational Leadership: Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in systems and processes.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • A strong alignment with our values and a genuine desire to make a difference.
  • A commitment to upholding the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in all aspects of the role.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Experience in the tertiary education sector.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (an adult teaching qualification is advantageous).
  • A track record of delivering quality outcomes and leading high-performing teams.
