About this role
As an administrator based at reception, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations and creating a positive, efficient experience for tauira (students), kaimahi (employees), and visitors. You will be the face of our company, providing exceptional administrative support.
Some of your responsibilities would include:
- Provide quality administrative support and technical assistance to various departments.
- Undertake reception duties.
- Provide distribution of resources through the appropriate booking system.
- Support the maintenance of site resources.
- Provide essential support for on site events.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with kaimahi, external stakeholders and tauira.
About you
We are looking for someone who has the following:
- Certificate in Business Administration or Computing (Level 3).
- A clean, full NZ Driver's License – able to drive a manual vehicle.
- An understanding of basic Te Reo Māori phrases mihi and greetings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suites.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to demonstrate being proactive and taking initiative.
- A willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
