Your key responsibilities will include:
- Cost estimation and budgeting
- Preparing tender documents
- Assisting with contract administration
- Tracking project costs and reporting
- Identifying and managing financial risks
- Site visits and measurements
- Client and supplier liaison
We would like to hear from Quantity Surveyors with 2-7+ years' experience in construction. In addition, you will ideally offer the following attributes:
- Familiarity with New Zealand building codes, regulations and industry standards
- A tertiary qualification in quantity surveying, construction management or similar
- A strong understanding of construction processes, cost control and projects
- Proven experience with tendering, procurement and contract administration
- Excellent knowledge of cost estimation and budgeting
- Knowledge of construction software and MS Excel
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
