John McGlashan College is a vibrant, highly successful, Year 7-13 integrated secondary school for boarders and day boys based in Dunedin.  Sited in a pristine natural environment, it is surrounded with expansive grounds, state-of-the-art buildings and facilities, with modern comfortable boarding houses that provide a home for a quarter of the boys.

Established in 1918, the College combines sound traditions, values  and outstanding achievement with a modern approach to education and a deep understanding of what parents and their sons expect from a school in today's society.

We are currently looking for a Deputy Director of Boarding to ensure the pastoral care of all of our boarders, an active role in prep supporting the academic needs of the students and the smooth day-to-day operation of the Boarding House.

The role is a salaried permanent, full-time position (40 hours a week). Rostered hours during the week and one in every three weekend to reflect the operational needs of the Boarding House.
