About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Production and Manufacturing Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing our manufacturing operations, ensuring high-quality production while driving efficiency and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand, optimize resource allocation, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, train, and motivate a team of production staff, ensuring all team members meet performance and safety standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the implementation of quality control measures, ensuring compliance with both internal and external quality standards. Troubleshoot and resolve production defects.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct safety audits, and foster a safety-first culture on the production floor.
  • Cost Management: Oversee production costs, including materials, labor, and equipment maintenance, while ensuring production stays within budget.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure the seamless flow of materials and product distribution.
  • Maintenance & Equipment Management: Ensure all manufacturing equipment is maintained to maximize uptime and optimize production performance.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor key production metrics (e.g., efficiency, yield, downtime), prepare performance reports, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

About You:

  • Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing or production management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to drive continuous improvement and manage production teams effectively.
  • Knowledge: Familiar with manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and regulatory compliance. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is an advantage.
  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or similar qualifications are a plus.
