Ata whakaarohia tō āpōpō | Imagine Tomorrow with Us
At Te Mātāpuna Fonterra, we want everyone to feel they can be themselves.
Whether you're early in your career or ready for your next step, Fonterra offers a unique opportunity to grow with a global dairy co-operative that values care, collaboration, and contribution.
Owned by New Zealand dairy farmers and supported by a dedicated team, we are all working together to create a better future. Imagine tomorrow with us, where your career can grow, and you can create positive change.
Mō tēnei tūranga | About the opportunity
Join Fonterra's Digital Maintenance Project, a business-led programme designed to transform how we maintain and manage assets by leveraging data and implementing an advanced Asset Performance Management (APM) solution. This initiative is reshaping maintenance from insight to impact, driving a proactive, risk-based approach that optimises maintenance plans, minimises unplanned downtime, and improves asset reliability while reducing costs.
As Project Manager, your focus is on enhancing operational visibility and driving coordinated planning across sites. You champion agile ways of working and collaborate closely with the D&AI Lead, Architecture, Programme Manager, OCM, and Product Owner to shape and communicate the programme's vision. Taking ownership of delivery, you ensure alignment across stakeholders while managing risks and driving outcomes. Alongside this, you provide guidance and coaching to SMEs, enabling them to succeed and contribute effectively to the project.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a programme that combines cutting-edge technology, data-driven insights, and strategic execution to deliver real business impact.
Mōu | About you
You are an experienced Project Manager or Delivery Manager with a strong track record of delivering complex projects in an Agile environment. You thrive in navigating large-scale, data-driven initiatives and have successfully managed integration and data projects, ideally involving SAP data and objects as well as OT historian data. Experience in the manufacturing sector will set you apart.
You are technically savvy, able to understand and engage with the details while steering delivery effectively. You bring exceptional stakeholder management skills, confidently working with a broad range of perspectives in a complex corporate environment. Vendor management is second nature to you, and you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get involved in delivery - not just coordinate risks, issues, and budgets.
As a self-starter and strong communicator, you're visible, proactive, and ready to immerse yourself in the team environment.
Ngā Uara | Our Values
At Fonterra, our values of Good Together, Better Every Day, and Every Drop Counts, are for everyone – no matter your background, identify or experience.
These values guide us in delivering exceptional outcomes for our farmers, customers, communities, and each other.
