Business Development Manager

We're looking for an energetic and driven Business Development Manager – Architectural to join our Auckland team. Reporting to the Architectural Channel Manager, you will focus on building relationships with architects, contractors, consultants, and end-users across the commercial construction lifecycle.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Generating profitable and sustainable sales growth through specification.
Developing strong relationships with architects, contractors, consultants, and key influencers.
Using CRM and construction intelligence tools to build and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
Ensuring compliance and engagement on submitted specifications.
Gathering and sharing market insights to support strategy and innovation.
Providing technical product support to customers and delivering industry training.
Representing ASSA ABLOY at industry events, functions, and networking opportunities.
Skills and experienceWe'd love to hear from you if you bring:
3–5 years' experience in business development, sales, or account management.
Background in architectural, design & build, or commercial construction industries.
Understanding of design software and processes.
Knowledge of door hardware or related building products (desirable).
Strong communication, relationship building, and influencing skills.
A growth mindset with perseverance, adaptability, and integrity.
