About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Inwards & Production Operator to join our team at our new Mount Wellington facility. In this versatile role, you will support multiple areas of the business, including receiving and checking stock, operating pre-wash and packout processes, and performing basic quality control checks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving stock, checking quality, and storing items in the correct chillers
- Setting up and loading the pre-wash bath, passing materials to high-care area
- Operating packout metal detector, weighing and labelling punnets
- Conducting quality checks on products and ensuring consistent standards
- Wrapping pallets and maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Assisting with production flow and supporting other team members as needed
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, is hands-on, and wants to be involved in multiple aspects of food production.
Hours/Days of Work
- Full-time – 40 hours per week
- Night shifts (4pm - 12:00)
- Must be available to workat least one weekend day
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced: previous work in food production, packout, or inventory is preferred
- Practical: comfortable with hands-on tasks and basic equipment operation
- Detail-oriented: strong focus on accuracy, quality, and compliance
- Flexible: happy to work across multiple areas of production as needed
- A team player: reliable, punctual, and communicates well
