THE OPPORTUNITY

With the continued growth of the business, Davin are looking for a highly organised and practical person with a technical skill set. Working in a close-knit team environment, you will be a key liaison point between the customer and the manufacturing team to ensure products are manufactured to the highest standard and to customer requirements and timelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide a commercially minded, customer-oriented link between the manufacturing team and clients both on the telephone and face to face
  • Determine the customers manufacturing and materials requirements
  • Raise and submit quotations
  • Enter sales orders and issue works orders
  • Order materials, hardware and consumables
  • Liaise with manufacturing and other internal teams to ensure everything manufactured correctly and delivered to order
  • Ensure Quality Assurance and adherence to BOM's

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience in a technical environment, either in contract manufacturing or sheet metal
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills with accurate data entry
  • A customer centric ethos with energy and a drive to achieve results
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
