About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Content Designer to create web-ready visuals that support search performance, conversions, and user engagement across international markets. You will work closely with our SEO writers to transform content briefs into clear, fast-loading, and on-brand design assets, including hero banners, in-article graphics, diagrams, and light illustrations.

Daily communication is in English, but many assets will include non-English text overlays for foreign markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design hero banners and in-article graphics (flowcharts, comparisons, icons, diagrams) based on SEO briefs.
  • Prepare web-optimised assets, ensuring correct aspect ratios, responsive sizes (srcset), and efficient formats (WebP/PNG).
  • Apply and maintain brand guidelines, typography, colour usage, and spacing across all visuals.
  • Build and organise a reusable asset library for ongoing SEO projects.
  • Upload and attach assets in WordPress, ensuring accurate alt text, captions, and alignment.
  • Create annotated screenshots and styled tables for platform reviews and product comparisons.
  • Ensure accessibility, page performance, and SEO compliance (alt text, file naming, EXIF where useful).

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, Information Design, or Technical Communication (visual track).
  • 2+ years of experience designing web graphics for articles, blogs, or landing pages.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop or GIMP, with strong understanding of nondestructive workflows and source files.
  • Working knowledge of Illustrator/Inkscape for vector graphics and Figma for layout handoff.
  • Strong web production skills: export presets, responsive cropping, WebP conversion, basic colour management, and version control.
  • Basic WordPress skills (uploading media, setting alt text/captions, proper alignment).
  • Fluent in English (C1/C2).
  • Bonus: familiarity or native fluency in Malay, Arabic, Latin American Spanish, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Thai, or Vietnamese.
