- Play a pivotal role in managing ASB's corporate reputation through proactive and reactive media engagement.
- Be the first point of contact for media enquiries and crisis communications.
- Monitor the external environment and business changes to identify reputation risks and opportunities, providing strategic advice to media, customers, and stakeholders.
- Drive proactive media opportunities and maintain strong relationships with business, finance, and consumer media.
- Build deep connections with ASB's leaders and business units to represent our business authentically.
- Deliver high-quality, engaging communications for a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Support and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and creative culture.
Ngā mea ka taea e koe | What you'll bring
- A collaborative, "one team" mindset and a passion for best-practice external communications.
- Experience working across communications disciplines, with a flair for creativity and agility.
- A sixth sense for reputation risk, with proven ability to identify and mitigate threats.
- Calm, accurate, and professional approach in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Creative storytelling skills and a flexible, can-do attitude.
If you're ready to make an impact, drive positive media coverage, and help shape ASB's reputation, we want to hear from you
