About the role

Shape the future of Chubb Life's products, pricing, and performance. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (Group Finance), this is a high-impact leadership role at the heart of our strategy, where insight, influence, and innovation drive commercial and customer outcomes.

You'll lead a capable team of Product Managers and Actuarial Analysts, setting direction, providing clarity, and creating an environment where great people do their best work. It's a role with real scope: strategic visibility, global connection, and the freedom to make change happen.

Base yourself in our new Wellington office or join us in Takapuna and move with us to our new offices in mid 2026.

In this key role you'll

• Own Chubb Life's product and pricing strategy — from design to delivery.
• Partner with the CFO and senior leaders to drive growth and customer value.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team with clear goals and standards.
• Ensure our products remain competitive, compliant, and commercially sound.
• Champion continuous improvement and innovation across all product lines.

To be successful and grow in this role, you will ideally bring the following

• Proven track record in shaping and executing product strategy, development, and lifecycle management within the life insurance or financial services sector.
• Strong background in pricing methodologies, actuarial analysis, and financial modeling, with a history of driving profitable business outcomes.
• Experience mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
• Skilled in managing and influencing relationships with executive leadership, global teams, and key stakeholders.
• In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and governance frameworks relevant to life insurance products and pricing.
