Enrolled Nurse – West Coast District Hospital

The Role:

We are seeking compassionate, skilled, and team-oriented Enrolled Nurses to join our multidisciplinary team at West Coast District Hospital, providing care across:

  • Emergency First Response Care
  • Sub-Acute Inpatient services
  • Residential aged care home

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will:

  • Deliver evidenced based care in accordance with the nursing care plan under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse/midwife.
  • Contribute to the development of patient/client nursing care plans, the evaluation of care and healthcare information in collaboration with the registered nurse/midwife.
  • Participate in decision making with the multidisciplinary team to achieve planned patient outcomes.
  • Assist in the collection of comprehensive clinical data from the patient/client and/or family.
  • Provide information to the patient/client and/or family in accordance with the nursing care plan.

Details of appointment:

Permanent, full time and part time, shift worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary:

$70,980 to $78,179 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance withNurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type

Salary Packaging:

You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including up to $9,010 for living expenses + $2,650 for meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

  • Remote and Rural Professional Development Allowance of $3,797 per annum
  • 10% remote allowance
