Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement AWS Landing Zone frameworks to facilitate secure, scalable, and automated multi-account environments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand enterprise cloud strategy, compliance requirements, and security policies.
  • Develop architecture blueprints and roadmaps for cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
  • Automate the provisioning of landing zones and associated cloud resources using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar IaC tools.
  • Implement security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards like PCI DSS, GDPR, or other regulations relevant to financial services.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Provide guidance and support to DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration with cloud environments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery plans are in place.
  • Document architecture designs, processes, and operational procedures.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience as an AWS Solutions Architect, Cloud Architect, or similar role (minimum 3+ years).
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying AWS Landing Zones.
  • Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
  • Experience with multi-account AWS environments and governance controls.
  • Familiarity with security, compliance, and governance requirements in financial or regulated industries.
  • Excellent understanding of networking (VPC, VPN, Direct Connect).
  • Experience with automation, scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
