Position Purpose: This intern will support the implementation of new tools and initiatives, including the Cutover chain release management and recovery platform. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, programming, and project support while collaborating with a team of seasoned architects in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation and evaluation of the Cutover tool, supporting chain release management and failover execution.

  • Collaborate with lead architects and application teams to script, map, and develop templates for tool execution.

  • Conduct data analysis to inform decisions and improve processes.

  • Work alongside a project manager to ensure successful adoption and integration of new tools.

  • Provide programming and data-centric support to the team.

Requirements:

  • Basic programming skills, with experience in Python or similar scripting languages being a plus

  • Strong analytical mindset and experience with data analysis tools or techniques

  • Interest or experience in business analysis and project management

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.

Pay Range: $18-26/hour

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including competitive pay, health insurance, 401(k) and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field, or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
