Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Generate KiwiSaver Scheme Full time

About Us

We are a proudly NZ owned award-winning KiwiSaver and Wealth manager. Since inception, our goals have been to educate and empower our customers to help them make good financial decisions and to provide them with strong long-term performance. To date, we have achieved both of those goals and we are relentlessly focused on these goals for the future. Ultimately, we exist to grow Kiwi's wealth and help them achieve materially better financial outcomes in retirement.

We are a business that cares about making this difference and our people play a key role in bringing our mission to life. We encourage our people to bring their ideas to the table and empower them to lead initiatives that will positively impact our business, community, and members.

About The Role

As the Marketing Campaign Specialist, you will play a key role in planning, managing, and delivering Generate's marketing campaigns — leading go-to-market delivery for new products and promotions, and ensuring every launch and campaign is executed effectively to drive awareness and engagement. This includes executing campaign strategies, coordinating creative and media activity, and ensuring effective delivery across ATL, digital, social, print, and event channels — driving cohesive, results-focused campaigns that support new product launches and key promotional initiatives.

Reporting into the Head of Customer Experience and Marketing, you will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and deliver measurable results that support Generate's growth objectives.

Your day to day will look something like this:

  • Marketing Campaign Planning & Execution: Manage end-to-end marketing campaigns, from concept and creative development to execution, stakeholder sign-off, and performance reporting.
  • Go-to-Market Planning & Execution: Collaborate with internal teams to define launch objectives and messaging, develop launch plans, oversee creative and media, and coordinate roll-out across all channels.
  • Marketing Support & Enablement: Create marketing and sales enablement materials and support teams with timely, brand-aligned communications for customers and advisers.
  • Product & Client Experience Support: Support development and updates of customer-facing tools, ensuring branding and compliance, coordinating content changes, and gathering insights to improve usability.
  • Reporting & Optimisation: Monitor campaign performance, optimise tactics for better ROI, and identify new campaign opportunities based on trends and priorities.

About You

You are relentlessly focused on customer experience and always act in the best interests of both internal and external customers. Highly self-motivated, you take initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and identifying improvement opportunities. Driven by deadlines, you take pride in your ability to deliver high-quality work within tight timeframes, often with little supervision.

You are known for being flexible, adaptable, and composed, and take pride in your reputation for reliability. You enjoy innovation and have proven ability to challenge the status quo to inspire and enable change and improvements. You work well both independently and collaboratively as part of a team and strongly believe that sharing information empowers and enables the team to achieve its collective purpose.

Highly organised with excellent time management skills, you maintain a professional manner and attitude and are ethical, responsible, and reliable.

In addition to the above you will also have:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing campaign management from briefing through to execution and post campaign analysis, ideally in the financial services industry or other highly regulated sectors.
  • Proven ability to analyse campaign performance data and translate insights into clear recommendations for optimisation.
  • Experience working with creative and media agencies, managing timelines, feedback, and deliverables.
  • Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to spot trends and apply learnings to improve future campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in drafting or editing content for different audiences.
  • Familiarity with KiwiSaver, investment products, or retirement planning would be beneficial.

What's in it for you?

Our culture is what sets us apart. We set ourselves high standards, ensuring our work environment is one where people thrive and have fun. We invest significantly in the well-being of our people and are intentional about celebrating wins.

In return for your hard work, you can also expect many great benefits working at Generate:

  • A rewarding role with ongoing growth.
  • Hybrid model that empowers you to balance work and home life seamlessly.
  • Competitive base salary + bonus package paid twice a year, additional KiwiSaver contribution, corporate benefits, and more
  • Wellbeing benefits including health insurance, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and discounted gym membership.
  • Development opportunities, including study assistance and ongoing training & support.
  • Proactive Health & Wellbeing Committee that organises a full calendar of events and initiatives that support Social Connection, Community, and Mental Health.
  • Comfortable and central Auckland CBD office location.
