About the role:
- Completing repairs and maintenance on all agricultural machinery on-site and off-site when required.
- Ensure that parts, equipment and accessories needed to complete jobs are ordered.
- Complete jobs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Responsible for managing all necessary record-keeping, documentation, billing and reporting requirements.
- Communicate with both internal and external parties and provide them with a high level of customer service.
- Provide effective support to other team members.
- Be aware of, understand, and adhere to health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
About you:
- You'll be a fully qualified Diesel Mechanic with solid hands-on experience as a Tractor Mechanic and have a proven track record in the field.
- You have hands-on experience with agricultural equipment from tractors and forage harvesters to a wide range of farm machinery, and you're confident tackling repairs, maintenance and diagnostics in the field or workshop.
- You take pride in delivering top-notch workmanship and back it up with exceptional customer service.
- You're known for your commitment and reliability, with a sharp eye for detail that ensures nothing gets overlooked.
- Professional, well-presented and organised, you work with pride and keep things running smoothly, efficiently.
- You thrive in a team environment but are equally capable of working independently, showing initiative and a strong work ethic every step of the way.
- You hold a full NZ Driver's license.
Benefits:
This field service role offers a standard 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with any overtime paid at time and a half.
You'll receive an attractive hourly wage based on your experience, along with an on-call allowance, tool allowance, meal allowance, company ute, phone, and laptop. All PPE, including boots and a full work uniform, will be provided.
