About the role

As a Parts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our parts and accessories department. Working closely with our parts manager and service technicians, your duties will include:

· Assisting walk-in customers and telephone callers with parts and accessory inquiries.

· Processing orders and sales transactions accurately.

· Picking and dispatching parts for the service department and customer orders.

· Maintaining accurate inventory records through our computer system.

· Ordering and receiving new stock, as well as managing incoming shipments.

· Assisting with the upkeep and presentation of our parts showroom.

· Conducting regular stock checks and helping to manage inventory levels.

· Assisting with administrative tasks to ensure a smooth operation.

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

· A passion for motorcycles and a basic understanding of motorcycle parts and accessories.

· Previous experience in a retail or parts environment is an advantage, but not essential.

· Strong customer service and communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.

· Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.

· A friendly, positive, and can-do attitude.

· The ability to work well within a team.

· Proficiency with computer systems.

· A full driver's licence (a motorcycle licence is a bonus).

· NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
