We have a great opportunity based in Invercargill for a team player who can work well under pressure, has excellent communication skills and a sense of humour. If you are someone that can demonstrate initiative with a positive can-do attitude, this role could be perfect for you Training will be provided for the right candidate. Hours are Monday to Friday 6am-2.30pm.

The Role:

  • Loading/ unloading and picking/packing steel orders
  • Helping with warehouse organisation and ensuring the warehouse is maintained to a high standard.
  • Fork hoist and Gantry Crane experience desirable
  • Ensuring health and safety is held to a very high standard
  • Running cycle stock counts
  • Customer facing role
  • Daily running of robot/lathe and saws

About you:

  • High level of physical fitness and be comfortable with heavy lifting
  • Strong attention to detail and super reliable
  • Experience with forklifts/cranes is desirable, but training can be provided
  • The ability to work as part of a small team and follow instructions is essential
  • A keenness to learn new skills as your role develops, attitude essential
  • Good English comprehension, with the ability to read manuals and run stock counts
  • Easy learner. Product knowledge a part of the role
