We are part of Foodstuffs South Island, our 100% kiwi-owned and operated cooperative that supports the brands that we all know and love - PAK'nSAVE, New World, Four Square, and On the Spot - as well as our Trents customers.

About the role:

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm with a rostered 2-4hr Saturday shift approx. once every 4-5 weeks over summer months.
  • Provide proof of clean current licenses to drive trucks, Class 4 is required with a minimum of 12 months driving experience.
  • Hold a current F and O.S.H Forklift Endorsement is preferable but not essential.
  • Work within a dedicated team.
  • Be Flexible.
  • Supply referees regarding work experience and character before their appointment.
  • This is a Driver/storeperson role so work in the ambient warehouse, chiller and freezer will be required when not driving.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be physically fit so as to meet the demands of the position
  • Have an excellent team spirit and ability to work with a wide range of people.
  • Fantastic customer service skills
  • Flexible nature and ability to meet deadlines
  • Be both numerate and literate
  • Be able to provide a stable work history
  • Have reliable transport as employment hours maybe outside public transport hours or may not be available.
  • Pass a pre employment medical with alcohol and drug check.
