We are a rapidly growing renovation group with operations in both Whangārei and Tauranga, delivering medium to premium kitchen, bathroom, and interior solutions. Our team includes designers, cabinet makers, painters, and architects, working collaboratively to transform residential spaces with a focus on craftsmanship, design, and customer satisfaction.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Project Manager to lead and oversee multiple renovation projects across both locations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing trades, coordinating timelines, and ensuring quality outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple renovation projects from planning through to final handover
- Supervise and coordinate tradespeople including cabinet makers, painters, and contractors
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, designers, and internal teams
- Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and material procurement
- Ensure projects meet New Zealand building codes and health & safety standards
- Conduct regular site visits and quality inspections
- Provide progress updates to senior management
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or renovation project management
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with kitchen, bathroom, or interior fit-outs preferred
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans
- Competence in managing budgets and timelines
- Valid NZ driver's license
Preferred but Not Essential
- Trade background (e.g., cabinet maker, carpenter, or builder)
- Experience using project management software (e.g., Buildertrend, Trello, )
