What You'll Be Doing

You'll oversee all financial operations and lead the accounts payable and receivable teams. You'll deliver accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and proactive financial management that supports decision-making across the business.

You will:

• Lead and mentor the AP and AR teams, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with company goals

• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports

• Analyse variances, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to the leadership team

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and rolling financial projections

• Monitor cash flow and identify risks and opportunities

• Ensure compliance with tax obligations, statutory filings, and financial regulations

• Act as the main liaison with external accountants, auditors, and regulatory bodies

• Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, tools, and processes

• Support strategic initiatives through financial modelling, risk analysis, and cost-control strategies

• Participate in cross-functional projects and maintain high standards of confidentiality and integrity

• Manage accounts for international locations, including multi-currency transactions, cross-border compliance, and global reporting requirements

Who You Are

You're a confident, analytical, and strategic finance professional who thrives in a leadership role. You excel at translating complex financial information into practical insights and actionable strategies. You have experience managing teams, improving systems, and supporting growth in a fast-moving business, including international operations.

You bring:

• Proven experience in financial leadership, including AP and AR management

• Experience managing accounts for a business with international locations, understanding multi-currency, cross-border compliance, and reporting requirements

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills

• Advanced proficiency in Xero, Excel, and accounting software

• Experience preparing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Ability to communicate clearly with both financial and non-financial stakeholders

• Initiative, accountability, and integrity

• Experience in service-based or membership businesses

• Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems integration

• Experience in a fast-growing SME environment
