Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

We're looking for a talented and experienced Finance Manager to join our Transport & Infrastructure Accounting Services team in Auckland.

This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll combine your financial expertise and commercial acumen to deliver accurate reporting, optimise cashflow, and drive performance improvements across our business.

You'll work closely with senior leaders across both NZ and Australia, providing insights that help influence decisions and improve business outcomes.

Ngā kawenga | What you'll be doing

In this role, you will:

  • Lead month-end processes, financial reporting, and OneStream submissions
  • Drive sustainable cost management and provide analysis on functional cost performance
  • Optimise cash collections and working capital, including cashflow forecasting and debtor management
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles across the business
  • Ensure compliance with audit, tax, and internal control requirements
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems and processes
  • Provide mentoring and leadership to build a high-performing, collaborative finance team

Ngā pūkenga matua | About You

You're a seasoned finance professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and enjoys translating numbers into meaningful insights. You'll bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in commerce, accounting, or financial management
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification
  • 10+ years' experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a large or multi-entity organisation
  • Strong background in financial reporting, cashflow management, and compliance
  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive performance
  • High emotional intelligence, resilience, and a proactive problem-solving mindset
