Job description
Senior Chef de Partie
- Independently operating and running a small busy kitchen
- Being organised and able to work under pressure is important
- Creating Daily Specials
- Preparing and cooking food items according to recipe and quality standards
- Handling all activities involved in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Running the kitchen in lieu of Head Chef
- Supporting Head Chef as required
- Supervising and training junior kitchen staff
- Assist with stock rotation, ordering and inventory checks
- Cleaning, tidying and maintaining the kitchen and tools
- Upholding health and safety standards in the kitchen at all times
Must meet all the following minimum qualifications:
- New Zealand Cookery Diploma Level 5 or equivalent trade qualification
- At least 2 years of relevant kitchen experience in New Zealand
- Applicants must be based in Auckland and hold a valid working visa
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37 - $39 per hour
