We're looking for a hands-on, detail-driven CNC Operator to join our production team, working on cutting-edge architectural timber and aluminium projects that feature in some of New Zealand's most exciting builds.

This isn't a repetitive factory job — you'll be working with custom designs, complex patterns, and high-end finishes where no two jobs are quite the same. You'll run our CNC wood routers to transform raw panels into precision-cut components that slot seamlessly into feature walls and ceilings across commercial, civic, and residential projects.

Day to day, you'll:

• Set up, program, and run CNC routers to cut timber, ply, MDF, and composite panels.
• Work from CAD/CAM files and shop drawings, nesting and optimising material to get the best results.
• Handle a variety of custom projects — from intricate ceiling panels to large-scale wall systems.
• Maintain and fine-tune tooling, feeds, and speeds for accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate closely with design, production, and finishing teams to ensure components meet spec.
• Troubleshoot, problem-solve, and think creatively to deliver solutions when challenges come up.

What We're Looking For

Essential qualities:

• Proven ability in operating CNC machinery, with experience specializing in routing Joinery or Veneer paneling.
• Skills or experience in woodworking and joinery, with an understanding of materials and finishes.
• Ability to follow instructions and read technical drawings or measurements.
• A practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving instincts.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Reliable, motivated, and keen to learn new skills and processes.
• Works well as part of a team and communicates clearly.

Valuable qualities:

• Exposure to CAD/CAM programming – or the drive to grow into this.
• Machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills & familiarity with tooling.
• Previous involvement in architectural, joinery, or bespoke manufacturing environments.
