Are you a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with a strong foundation in Business Analysis (BA)? Do you thrive on data storytelling, critical thinking, and solving complex problems with innovative solutions? You will have a passion for working with data to support the delivery of enterprise-wide BI and Analytic solutions. Your ability to design, create, and deploy reports, dashboards, and models will help drive data-informed decisions across the organisation. Our suite of technologies ensures daily travel for Aucklanders is more comfortable, safe, and sustainable.

You'll bring a tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience, along with a strong background in BI development and business analysis.

Key Skills:

  • Prior experience in designing, creating, and deploying reports, dashboards, and models using tools such as Power BI and SQL Server.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling and data warehousing principles, including experience with relevant toolsets.
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with DAX for advanced data analysis and reporting.
  • Effective data storytelling and the ability to communicate insights clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prepare, and facilitate workshops to gather and refine business and technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, self-driven approach and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Adaptability, critical thinking, and a delivery-focused mindset with high attention to detail.
